Side Effects Reported with Gevolox

Precautions

There is no controlled data available for the use of Gevolox in pregnancy.

Pharmacokinetics

After oral administration, about 90% of glucosamine is absorbed from the G.l tract. The plasma levels as shown by radioactivity are smaller than that by parenteral administration suggesting a hepatic first-pass effect. It is also demonstrated that Gevolox diffuses well into several tissues including structures like bones and articular cartilage.
