Domel Tablet Uses

Domel tablet is a medication used to treat nausea and vomiting, as well as other gastrointestinal symptoms. Domel is primarily used for the treatment of:

• Chemotherapy-Induced Nausea and Vomiting
• L-dopa Induced Nausea and Vomiting

1. Domel tablets can also be used as adjunctive therapy for conditions such as cytotoxic chemotherapy and heartburn.
2. The benefits of using Domel include reduced nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, and bloating. It has been found to reduce the severity and frequency of these symptoms in some people with gastroenteritis or irritable bowel syndrome (IBS).
3. Domel tablets may be helpful in treating delayed gastric emptying (gastroparesis) caused by diabetes or other conditions that affect the stomach muscles.
4. In addition to gastrointestinal benefits, Domel can be used to increase prolactin levels in women who have difficulty producing enough milk during breastfeeding (a condition known as hypokalaemia).

While generally safe for use when taken correctly under medical supervision, there are several contraindications for Domel use that should be considered prior to take it:

• People with heart rhythm disorders such as long QT syndrome should not use Domel.

• One tablet 3-4 times in 24 hours.
