Nuberol Forte Uses

Nuberol Forte generally is a safe medicine and it is primarily used for the relief of painful skeletal muscle spasms associated with chronic low back pain, sprains, strains, prolapsed intervertebral disc, muscle injury, non-articular rheumatism, tension headache, dysmenorrhea, and other acute or chronic painful muscular conditions.

How Does Nuberol Forte Work?

In Nuberol Forte, the combined analgesic effect of Paracetamol and the muscle relaxant action of Orphenadrine Citrate provides in-depth relief from the pain associated with Skeletal muscle Spasms.

Paracetamol possesses analgesic and antipyretic actions similar to those of salicylates. Analgesia is mediated peripherally and also centrally.

Orphenadrine Citrate (the other ingredient included in Nuberol Forte Tablets) is an orally effective muscle relaxant.

Muscle relaxation is not due to a direct action on the muscle itself; rather the site of action of Orphenadrine Citrate is central. Orphenadrine is readily absorbed from the gastrointestinal tract and is almost completely metabolized to at least 8 metabolites.

Nuberol Forte is mainly excreted in the urine as metabolites and unchanged drugs.

Who Should Not Take Nuberol Forte Tablets?

Nuberol Forte is contraindicated in patients hypersensitive to Paracetamol or Orphenadrine Citrate. Orphenadrine should not be given to patients with myasthenia gravis, glaucoma, urinary retention, or lactating women.

What Are The Most Common Side Effects of Nuberol Forte?

When taken in recommended doses, Paracetamol (the primary ingredient of Nuberol Forte Tablets) is usually free from side effects. In some very rare cases, mild skin reactions, such as urticaria have been noted.

However, the side effects reported to occur in patients using Orphinadrine (the other ingredient of Nuberol Forte Tablets) include dry mouth, nausea, blurred vision, dizziness, confusion, tremor, palpitations, and urinary hesitancy.

What is the Daily Recommended Dosage of Nuberol Forte Tablets?

In adults, 1 Tablet should be taken, twice daily. Nuberol Forte is not recommended to be used in children.

Precautions

Nuberol Forte should be protected from moisture, freezing, excessive heat, and sunlight. And of course, like any other drug or prescription medication, this one should also be kept out of the reach of children.
