Angised Side Effects

Angised, is commonly used to treat angina and certain heart conditions. Like any medication, Angised can have side effects. Some common and less common side effects of Angised include.

Common Side Effects

• Headaches: This is one of the most common side effects. Angised can cause headaches due to its ability to dilate blood vessels, leading to increased blood flow.
• Dizziness or lightheadedness: Again, due to its vasodilatory effects, it can cause a drop in blood pressure, leading to feelings of dizziness or lightheadedness.
• Flushing (reddening of the skin): Angised can cause the skin to become red and warm, especially in the face and neck area.
• Nausea or vomiting: Some individuals may experience gastrointestinal disturbances like nausea or, less commonly, vomiting.
• Weakness or fatigue: Angised might cause feelings of weakness or fatigue, especially when starting the medication or when the dosage is increased.
• Fainting or faintness: Due to its effect on blood pressure, severe drops in pressure can lead to fainting in some cases.

Less Common Side Effects

• Severe hypotension: Angised can cause a significant drop in blood pressure, leading to symptoms such as extreme dizziness, confusion, blurred vision, or even fainting.
• Tachycardia: In some cases, Angised can cause a rapid heartbeat, known as tachycardia, which might be accompanied by palpitations or irregular heartbeats.
• Allergic reactions: Although rare, allergic reactions to Angised can occur. Symptoms may include rash, itching, swelling (especially of the face, throat, or tongue), severe dizziness, or trouble breathing. Seek immediate medical attention if an allergic reaction is suspected.
• Methemoglobinemia: This condition is characterized by an abnormal amount of methemoglobin in the blood, reducing its ability to carry oxygen. Symptoms might include bluish discoloration of the skin, headache, fatigue, and shortness of breath.
• Increased intracranial pressure: Angised may potentially increase pressure within the skull, causing symptoms such as severe headache, nausea, vomiting, and changes in vision.
• Syncope (loss of consciousness): In rare cases, Angised can lead to a sudden loss of consciousness.

1. Erectile Dysfunction Medications: Angised can cause a severe drop in blood pressure when taken with medications for erectile dysfunction like sildenafil (Viagra), tadalafil (Cialis), or vardenafil (Levitra). The combination of these drugs can lead to a life-threatening condition called hypotension.
2. Blood Pressure Medications: Combining Angised with other blood pressure-lowering drugs, such as beta-blockers or calcium channel blockers, might result in a significant decrease in blood pressure, leading to dizziness, fainting, or even more severe complications.
3. Other Vasodilators: Taking other medications that widen blood vessels (vasodilators) alongside Angised can intensify the vasodilation effects, potentially causing a dangerous drop in blood pressure.
4. Alcohol: Drinking alcohol while on Angised can also lead to a dangerous drop in blood pressure.
5. Certain Antidepressants: Some antidepressants, particularly monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs) and tricyclic antidepressants, can interact with Angised, leading to increased side effects like low blood pressure.
