Nebil Tablet Uses

Nebil has certain contraindications, which are situations in which its use is not recommended due to potential risks. The contraindications for Nebil include:

Allergy or Hypersensitivity: Nebil should not be used in individuals with a known allergy or hypersensitivity to Nebil or any other components of the medication.

Severe Bradycardia: Nebil is contraindicated in individuals with severe bradycardia (very slow heart rate), heart blocks greater than first-degree, or sick sinus syndrome unless a functioning pacemaker is in place.

Cardiogenic Shock: Nebil should not be used in individuals with cardiogenic shock, a condition in which the heart is unable to pump enough blood to meet the body’s needs.

Nebil Dose for Hypertension (High Blood Pressure): One tablet of 5mg once daily. The dose may be increased by Two tablets of 5mg once daily if needed and as tolerated.

Nebil Dose for Heart Failure with Reduced Ejection Fraction: Starting Dose A half tablet of 2.5mg once daily. The dose may be gradually increased to one tablet of 2.5 mg once daily and then one tablet of 5mg once daily at intervals of at least 2 weeks, depending on the patient’s tolerance.

Nebil is a selective beta-1 adrenergic receptor blocker, also known as a beta-blocker. Nebil works by selectively blocking beta-1 adrenergic receptors in the heart. This means it competes with adrenaline and other chemicals that bind to these receptors, preventing their activation.
