Gevolox Capsule has multiple uses and a wide range of therapeutic indications. We strongly recommend that no one should use Gevolox Capsules without consulting a qualified healthcare professional.
Gevolox capsules are used to treat osteoarthritis, a condition that causes pain, stiffness, and swelling in the joints. Osteoarthritis is the most common type of arthritis, and it affects millions of people worldwide.
Chondrocytes in the cartilage matrix periodically biosynthesize proteoglycans and collagen molecules to keep the cartilage tissue healthy and resilient in order to offer the benefits of cushioning to the functioning joint.
The earliest physicochemical change in the cartilage of an osteoarthritic patient is an increase in water content due to disruption of the collagen network. An increase in water leads to a fall in proteoglycan concentration. The earliest gross pathological change is the softening of the cartilage. As the disease progresses the integrity of the surface is lost. Cartilage thins out, and clefts appear. Sclerosis of cartilage takes place and osteophytes are formed at the joint margin.
Successful treatment of osteoarthritis must effectively control pain and should slow or reverse the progression of the disease.
Biochemical and pharmacological data combined with animal and human studies demonstrates that Gevolox (glucosamine sulfate) is a satisfactory choice for such treatment.
Gevolox or Glucosamine is the naturally occurring compound that provides cartilage with the building block it needs to repair damage caused by osteoarthritis or injury. Gevolox provides the raw material needed for chondrocytes to regenerate cartilage. Glucosamine deficiency caused by aging and/or trauma leads to osteoarthritis.
The oral use of Gevolox (glucosamine salt) provides the raw material needed for joint cartilage synthesis and repair. Gevolox also inhibits the production of collagenase and phospholipase A2 by human chondrocytes obtained from osteoarthritic knee or hip joints.

How Gevolox Works?
The primary biological role of Gevolox in halting or reversing joint degeneration appears to be directly due to its ability to act as an essential substrate for and to stimulate the biosynthesis of glycosaminoglycans and the hyaluronic acid backbone needed for the formation of proteoglycans found in the structural matrix of the joint.
Osteoarthritis results from an imbalance between the rate of synthesis and the rate of degradation of cartilage proteoglycans where degradation exceeds synthesis. If this is the case, then increasing the availability of glucosamine (Gevolox) will in turn increase the production of cartilage proteoglycans and thus, potentially decrease joint pain and increase flexibility. Glucosamine sulfate (Gevolox) therefore, stops the pathogenic mechanisms of osteoarthritis relieving the symptoms like pain and swelling and slowing the progression of disease. Glucosamine sulfate is a member of the glycosaminoglycans family. These are long chains of amino acids that are found in high concentrations in sea shells. Glucosamine sulfate is a natural amino sugar comprising glucose, Glutamine, and sulfur. It is highly soluble in water.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to glucosamine sulfate.
