Diagesic P tablet is a prescription medication used to treat chronic and acute pain. It is a combination of Paracetamol, Caffeine, and Thioridazine primarily used to treat:

• Painful Muscle Spasms
• Fever
• Flu and Cold Associated Pain
• Headache and Migraine
• Toothache
• Backache
• Menstrual Cramps

Presently, Diagesic P is available in Tablet Form

Diagesic P Tablet : Paracetamol 500mg, Caffeine 70mg, and Thioridazine 3mg strengths

Paracetamol:

1. Pain relief: Paracetamol is commonly used to alleviate mild to moderate pain, such as headaches, toothaches, muscle aches, menstrual cramps, and pain associated with minor injuries.
2. Fever reduction: Paracetamol is an effective antipyretic, meaning it helps reduce fever caused by various conditions, including viral infections, colds, flu, and post-vaccination fever.
3. Osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis: Paracetamol may be used as a part of the treatment plan to manage pain and inflammation associated with these types of arthritis.

Caffeine:

1. Increased alertness and wakefulness: Caffeine stimulates the central nervous system, which can help improve mental alertness, concentration, and overall wakefulness.

The usual adult dose is 1 or 2 tablets of Diagesic P within 4 to 6 hours intervals.

Diagesic P Dose should not exceed 8 tablets in a day and do not use for more than 3 days.

Diagesic P Dose for Children: It is not recommended for Children under the age of 12 years.

Diagesic P works by blocking the functions of neurotransmitters in the brain which are responsible for pain, inflammations, and some psychotic disorders. Disgesic P specifically acts on Protagladines and Dopamine receptors.
