Liometacin injections must be made slowly, penetrating deep into the muscle of the upper external quadrant of the buttocks observing strict sterilization, aseptic and antiseptic standards.

Parenteral administration may at times lead to a slight, brief hypotensive state. This drug cannot be considered a simple analgesic and must be used under strict medical supervision.
