Ronirol - Ropinirole Adverse Effects

The most commonly reported side effects of Ronirol includes nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, trouble sleeping, constipation, unusual weakness, stomach upset and pain, headache or dry mouth may occur. If these effects persist or worsen, medical attention should be sought. Other side effects includes hallucinations, difficulty moving or walking, difficulty breathing. Less commonly confusion, restlessness, leg or foot swelling, fainting, twitching, chest pain, unusually fast or slow heartbeat can occur. Very rarely, adverse effects such as muscle pain, vision problems, fever, severe muscle stiffness, sudden irresistible urge to sleep is also reported.

Among the treatment-emergent adverse events in patients treated with Ronirol, hallucinations appear to be dose-related the incidence of adverse events was not materially different between women and men.

Restless Legs Syndrome

The most commonly reported adverse events in the treatment of restless legs syndrome with Ronirol were nausea, somnolence, vomiting, dizziness, and fatigue. Occurrences of nausea in clinical trials were generally mild to moderate in intensity.
