Zyloric Tablet Uses

Zyloric tablet is used to treat gout, a type of arthritis in which uric acid, a naturally occurring substance in the body, builds up in the joints and causes sudden attacks of redness, swelling, pain, and heat in one or more joints. Following are some common uses of Zyloric Tablet:

1. Gout Treatment: Zyloric tablet helps lower uric acid levels. It helps prevent the formation of urate crystals and alleviates symptoms of gout, such as joint pain, swelling, and inflammation.

Zyloric Tablets : 100mg and 300mg Strengths

Certain individuals should not take Zyloric due to safety concerns such as those with liver disease or reduced kidney function who have a higher risk for side effects from this drug; those with a history of allergic reactions to medications; pregnant women; and those taking certain other drugs such as azathioprine (Imuran), mercaptopurine (Purixan), cyclophosphamide (Cytoxan) or chlorpropamide (Diabinese).
