Spadix tablet is primarily used for the treatment of gastrointestinal disorders. It has antispasmodic properties that relax smooth muscles in the body, particularly those in the digestive tract and the urinary tract. Spadix tablets are used to treat a variety of smooth muscle spasms, including:

1. Spasms of the urinary tract (renal colic, dysuria)
2. Spasms of the biliary tract (biliary colic)
3. Gastrointestinal spasms (irritable bowel syndrome)
4. Menstrual Disorders
5. Bronchial spasms (asthma)

1. Phloroglucinol Uses:
   Phloroglucinol (an active ingredient of Spadix) is a medication with antiseptic and antifungal properties. It is commonly used to treat conditions like biliary spasms, dysmenorrhea, gastrointestinal motility disorder, smooth muscle spasms, and urinary spasms. In addition, it is also used for skin infections such as ringworm, athlete’s foot, and jock itch. It is also used topically to reduce inflammation of the skin due to psoriasis or eczema.
