How Amoxil Works?
Amoxil is a penicillin-type antibiotic that works by stopping the growth of bacteria. It does this by binding to penicillin-binding proteins (PBPs), which are essential for the synthesis of bacterial cell walls. When Amoxil binds to PBPs, it prevents the cross-linking of peptidoglycan, a major component of bacterial cell walls.
